1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Timeground (“Timeground”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of ADAPT, available at adapt.timeground.in (the “Service”).

2. The Service

ADAPT is a guided mindset journal that helps you work through avoidance, fear, and action using the ADAPT framework. Features include journaling, AI-assisted coaching, streak tracking, check-ins, and pattern analysis.

The Service is provided for personal growth and productivity. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are in crisis or need professional mental health support, please contact a qualified provider or emergency services in your region.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using ADAPT, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.

4. Accounts

• You may sign in with Google or use a guest account.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your account credentials.
• Guest accounts can be linked to Google to preserve your journal.
• You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the journal entries and content you create. By using the Service, you grant Timeground a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate ADAPT — including sending relevant text to AI services when you request coaching or analysis.

You agree not to submit content that:

• Violates laws or third-party rights
• Contains malware, spam, or abusive material
• Attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service

6. AI-generated content

Stoic Coach and Pattern Analysis responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI output. Do not rely on ADAPT as a substitute for professional advice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Scrape, overload, or attack our infrastructure
• Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or security measures
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission

8. Intellectual property

Timeground owns the ADAPT name, logo, interface, and underlying technology. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets except as needed to use the Service normally.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Availability & changes

We strive to keep ADAPT available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these Terms; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIMEGROUND AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR INR 5,000 IF THE SERVICE WAS FREE).

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts inIndia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
